Who controls the data

MortgageCalcs is operated by Acerville Sparks Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 09411384. Registered office: Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU.

Calculator figures

Calculators run in your browser and do not submit or store the mortgage amounts, rates, terms or fees you enter.

Optional measurement

Google Analytics loads only after you allow analytics. It receives the page path without its query string and approved aggregate events, never the financial figures entered into a calculator. You can decline or change the choice through Privacy choices.

Hosting and contact

AWS processes ordinary technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site. Postal correspondence is retained only as reasonably necessary to respond and meet legal obligations.

Data journey for calculator figures

The downloaded browser code reads the entered figures, performs the calculation in memory and displays the result on the same page. Figures are not inserted into the URL, sent to an application service or included in analytics events. Clearing or closing the page removes them from the tool.

Consent and retention

Declining analytics leaves all calculators available. If analytics is allowed, only the path and bounded aggregate actions are measured. The site has no account or online enquiry database; postal correspondence is retained only as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose and legal obligations.

Questions and complaints

Write to the registered office with enough information to identify a privacy issue but do not include financial records. Depending on the circumstances, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
